Maintenance contract End-users receive a maintenance contract when they buy software maintenance for any Enfocus product. This maintenance contract can be delivered to the customer (through the channel) as a printed document or as a PDF file. Each customer has only one maintenance contract; the contract is started when they purchase maintenance for the first time, and is updated each time they purchase additional maintenance.

 Upon each update the updated maintenance contract is delivered (again either printed or as a PDF file). Premium support Users with a maintenance contract receive priority support (questions will be handled within one working day after receipt, without guarantee of resolution within that period). If a copy of the counter-signed maintenance contract has not been received by Enfocus, the user will not be eligible for Premium support. Each additional product for which maintenance is acquired is added to the existing maintenance contract. The renewal date for the maintenance contract remains fixed.

The first year the customer is charged pro-rated for the quarters remaining until the renewal date (including the current quarter). Free upgrades

 A maintenance contract includes free access to all software updates and software upgrades that are issued for the product during the period covered by the contract. If a copy of the counter-signed maintenance contract has not been received by Enfocus, the user will not be eligible for free-upgrades. Users with a valid, signed maintenance contract will be notified via email when a new software version is available for download from the Enfocus website.


Maintenance contracts are by default purchased for a year and can only be bought together with a product, or together with an upgrade to the latest version of a product, with a minimum purchase amount of €500. For each additional product, the customer is charged pro-rated for the quarters remaining until the renewal date (including the current quarter).
